The NPCs will be characters I used to move things along. Some of them are very important to the plot while the others will simply be added to make the world feel fuller. Unlike in other RPs, the NPCs will be controlled by Crescendo, Orpheus, and I. Players will not be able to use them, but if you want to interact with them then feel free to send me and PM. I won't give too much about them away for now.
Queen Delirium
"Welcome to Nowhere, traveler. I'm sure you're tired. Shall we have a cup to tea? Maybe a game?"
The queen of Nowhere. Delirium lives in an impeccably white castle that rests high in the sky.
The queen has a love for fancy parties and she always brings festivities and cheer to Nowhere. She is loved by her people, and is known as the radiant hope of Nowhere. There are rumors about how she was once brought to Nowhere by the midnight train, but when asked she'll bring a finger to her lips, smile and say that it's a secret. Delirium has been in Nowhere for far longer than she can remember, but hasn't aged at all.
Some people say she's as old as Nowhere itself.
She is happy whenever the train brings in more humans. Usually she invites the newcomers to her castle for a cup of tea or a game then sends them on their merry way. For the past few cycles, she has been assisting the humans on a quest to go home. Mainly, she serves as a guide and helping hand.
She's always smiling, always kind, and always shrouded in mystery.
Schizophrenia
"Stupid wall! Get out of my way."
Skitz is a tall and bony figure with two horns and a devil's tail. He works at the castle as a butler for Delirium and is considered one helluva a cook, despite his weird concoctions of newt eyes and elephant toes. He's an enigmatic man who can be rather paranoid, often pausing to look over his shoulder, just to make sure he isn't being followed. He thinks his shadow is a stalker and is often seen speaking to it when he has nothing of importance to do. Skitzs is a little out of his mind. He speaks to things that aren't their, bursts into laughter when nothing funny is going on and always thinks that's someone is out to get him. (Though maybe the last part isn't so wrong?)
Aside from being a butler he works as some sort of a tinkerer, messing with locks, cogs and gears in an attempt to make the castle the safest place imaginable. He calls his Shadow Felix and calls it his best friend/stalker. Skitzs is the sort of person who hears voices in his head and the sort who listens to those voices, but above all else he trusts the queen the most and would do almost anything at her command.
However, when it comes to newcomers he's quite wary of them, so he tests them with crazy riddles and morbid jokes. Usually he'll stick around if a newcomer interest him. Skitz can turn into a tiny devil that resembles a bat but is just plain terrible at flying. The bunny guards think he needs glasses, he probably does.
The Clockwork Soldier
"Tick-tock, time, time, time. I must guard time...forever. It is so lonely here, so so lonely."
The clockwork soldier resides in solitude in a clockwork tower hidden deep within a dark and twisted forest of dandelions. Not many know of his existence and he is thought to be nothing more than a myth. He is one of the first inhabitants of Nowhere and the protector of the last remaining clock.
The soldier is calm and stoic, lacking passions or emotions that make one appear alive. The clockwork soldier has been alone for so long that he has forgotten everything that doesn't have to do with time or his mission. He may appear the epitome of apathetic but the clockwork soldier is nothing but a lonely child who yearns for more than just his tiny world within the clockwork tower. He's very curious about the rest of the realm, but is so loyal and devoted that leaving has never really crossed his mind. The clockwork soldier finds pleasure in the smallest of things, the fluttering of a snowflake or a visit from a curious fox. All of these things makes his heart flutter and puts the smallest of smiles on his usually void face.
The Clockwork tower is the only place in Nowhere where time actually matters. On the top floor is the last remaining clock and a hall of doors that is rumored to hold the past events of Nowhere. Since the beginning the clockwork soldier has been there, waiting, watching and guarding all alone. As a result most emotions confuse him, but he is gentle and kind to all he encounters. Still, he knows it is his duty to guard the tower and will turn whoever chances upon it away no matter how much he wants them to stay.

Serenade and Dissonance
"Music is life! Without it I would die!"
"Idiot, it isn't life, but I'll admit it plays a part in making life enjoyable."
Two sisters and musicians. Serenade and Dissonance spend their days in Nowhere's square and there they play music for a living. Both sisters are extremely talented and can play an array of instruments. Dissonance the white rabbit is childish, immature, naive and a ball of sunshine while Serenade the black rabbit is calm, collected and reasonable.
Despite their differences both sisters care about each other very much and care more about each other than they let on.
Dissonance is always curious and playful, bringing mischief wherever she goes and causing trouble while Serenade is the epitome of calm and level-headed both travel the land of nowhere as magical musicians. Their music not only enchants but has been rumored to cast special effects on Nobodies. However, these effects are never anything grand, just tiny things, like a cure for a cold or a momentary feeling of euphoria. The effects never last long, but while they do last they can range from mild to intense.
Some of their songs allow a change in weather or the appearance of donuts, but mostly their songs focus on tugging at the emotional heartstrings.

Cello
"I can play any instrument, just for you, but won't you tell me some more about your world? It's absolutely fascinating, though I must admit, it's not as interesting as you."
A rather popular and friendly guide. Cello usually welcomes the humans with festive music and swarms of cats. During his free time he's usually playing his instruments for the queen or traveling nowhere in search of inspiration. He's an ambitious explorer with his heart tied to things unknown. The nobody is very interested in the human world and knows more about it than other nobodies due to working as a guide and his need to learn more and more about their world.
He's a charmer with his silver tongue and dashing smiles, but doesn't really understand what it means to be committed Cello is a child at heart, chasing after things that interest him and dreaming big. The nobody dreams of someday going to ever corner of Nowhere and performing in every town. He wants to make it big and he won't deny that. Cello is stubborn in his own way but is usually smart and willing to listen to reason.
The nobody lives not too far from the castle, inside an old oak tree with several animals as his companions. His best friend is a black cat with a scarf whom he calls Blaire.
It is rumored that Cello can understand animals and from time to time he delivers messages from the bunny guards who are unable to communicate with others.
